Bare bones question?

I've not had much luck searching for this, so...

Were Ex's available without the rear hvac equipment (without the blower, lines, etc in the rear)?

Someone was just talking about having one in the last couple months. Some XL versions were made for govt or fleet buyers. They may or may not have rear air, vinyl seats, rubber floors and such.

So no way of going manual windows? That makes sense though, the motors and switches are usually less to install at the factory than to manufacture and design crank windows for a limited run.

ah well since the doors are the same as a pick up the manual option would work in an X and the parts are already made

I bet it comes down to having to set up the machines to make a one off set of parts for a short run like you stated. But over the long term I bet they would have made a option in that case since copper is not cheap

Since I don't have an Ex (yet), please excuse my ignorance...

On models with no HVAC in the rear, are interior panels different? Besides lack of equipment, what all would be different between rear-HVAC and non-rear-HVAC models?

just no vents in the headliner and no rear controls in the roof or front overhead console. otherwise the same as any other Ex.
