wiper bezel
how the heck do you put these things on.I realize now why i lost the first one. are there any tricks you can offer? are there a special type of plyers that would help? I apoligise again for my ignorance(i dont think the 100 degree weather helps any)

Ford had a special tool for removing and installing these bezel nuts.
You can make your own tool easily from a small piece of metal tubing.
Just grind one end to work like a screwdriver. The tubing will fit over the switch shaft, and the two "ears" fit into the slots on the bezel nut.
Drilling the other end of the tubing and putting a long thin bolt through (like a "T" handle), will give you some leverage to turn it.
