He is going to a local shop that has done all his work for him. Getting new heads from mother Ford. Trying to save a few $$ on that for him. I just feel so bad. He doesn't even beat on the thing. Of course, maybe that is the issue.

The issue was the design and machine work (or lack of) by international on that motor. EGR cooler, and oil cooler design, heads that were not machined to a perfectly flat surface, fewer head bolts than the 7.3.
