I'm subbed. Love these diy gear head garage restorations. I would personally have done a little bit darker blue but it looks great and it looks like you have a lot of skill. Look forward to the finished product
Haven't got the door jambs done yet still need clear so went ahead n got some work done i been putting off, epoxying the backside of the tailgate n jambs of the rear bed n gas door. The cab is last to epoxy.
The actual door jambs won't take long need to prep them out and paint, plan on doing that tomorrow.
quick update just got the bedsides finished, took a few days but i got both sides prepped out the best i could. overall came out nice has some orange peel n clear sag on the right side i need to buff out but I'm happy with it next is the tailgate for paint. Now that the bed is done I'm going to put it outside so i can get back to finishing the cab.
didn't work to much on it last month but this is were I'm at.... cab corners r done sheet metal wise started the filler work on it, should be the only filler work i have on the cab. I split epoxying the roof and back on cab due to roof needed more attention I'm working on removing all the seam sealer to make sure i have no rust in the roof or drip rail i got the drive side cleaned up. pulled the carpet n found some surface rust which i need to wire wheel n sealer before i paint. REAR frame i started with a grinder wire wheel to start striping the grim off paint the frame black with my epoxy sealer so won't have to worry about rust especially in the south.... but that were I'ma plan this month to paint the cab complete except firewall n put the bed back on by the end of the month
