351w TAB\TAD questions

Hello guys the engine we bought to put into our 1990 f250 is missing the TAD solenoid along with all of the vacuum lines that go with it. The TAB solenoid is there with all of the vacuum lines. We do have a spair TAD solenoid from the old motor. Should I just take the spair solenoid and connect it electrically and leave the vacuum lines off? I read this wouldnt cause a CEL or engine troubles.. Is this true?
Thanks,
Ryan

You can do that. Most of the time all of the stuff is removed from the old motor and put on the new one.
The computer does look to see if the solenoids have electrical continuity through them.
Then it checks on their operation with the O2 sensors.

Thanks for your input. Both of the motors have practically all of the same components, besides a couple. Thats probably what I'll do just add the missing solenoid and connect it to the harness.

I think you'll at least want to put some plugs over the nipples.

Actually I am dumb. If you just leave them connected electrically with no vac supply. I don't believe you'll have to cap them off at all. hahah.
