Im using a relays to switch between pre/post turbo with the upper glowshift & fuel pressure/coolant pressure with the lower gauge.

If I could only have one set of gauges...I would get the edge insight or the scan gauge(much cheaper...but not as pretty). You just can't beat the versatility and ability to look at various functions that allows you to do some troubleshooting.

Troubleshooting may not sound like your cup of tea, but when you have an issue, the projections and calculations the scan/insight is able to provide aids your mentor(from the 6.0/7.3 forum) to tell you what's going on inside your engine!

That is some sound advice, and while I am not the most knowledgable when it comes to engines and other areas, I have been known to turn a wrench or two. Having the diagnostic ability is a big plus.

I have EGT, Pyro, Trans Temp Lunar Gauges. They emit a real nice glow at night (too bad the night pic is blurry... )

Why are those darn pyro gauges so expensive? Jeez!

What, by opinion, are the best quality gauges? I had Banks in my dually and they were fine....boring, but fine. I was thinking about 2 pyros (or a single with a switch), boost and trans temp. If I go with a single pyro I may add either EOT or fuel pressure. Recommendations??

I forget where I got mine, but RiffRaff has the under dash pods. They come in black, you have to paint to match.

Autometer Under Dash Console - Riffraff Diesel Performance

EDIT: I think I bought my pod from Strictly Diesel, as I also got the fuel pressure hose extension at the same time.

I only have the SGII and I drilled the hole in the back of the pocket for a cleaner install.

I installed the sensors in the oil filter cap (billet cap) and the coolant filter (aftermarket) both were taped for a sensor. I'm not sure the difference between electric or manual. I could take a picture if you would like.
