Fuel pressure issues
I have a 1993 Ford F -350, 7.3 IDI that has a Gale Banks " Sidewinder" system installed since 1993. All works well but after installing a Racor 500 fuel filter before the Holley electric fuel pump, the old mechanical failed years ago, I'm getting air bubbles in the filter. Doesn't seem to affect the performance any but I'd like to find out why this is occurring. When I dead head the pump, I'm getting 4.5 lbs. of pressure, when the engine runs I'm at 3-3.5 lbs. Running a 30 micron on the Racor and the Secondary is new. Don't know what is causing this, any ideas would be helpful. Thanks, Tom.
