Parting out a '79 F-250 400m. I recently swapped bodies between a 2wd and 4wd chassis and have the remains of the 4x4 to get rid of. Front clip is gone but I have the cab and bed as well as the motor. Southern Colorado truck, little rust on the bed above the wheelwells but the cab is really nice. Some highlights:
solid running 400M with edelbrock 4bbl intake (will part out)
2bbl carb with adapter literally run for a week before swap
8-lug steel wheels
solid C6 out of the 2wd truck
automatic steering column
All side trim off the donor in good shape

I'm not looking to get rich off this stuff, I'd rather just not throw it away. Not interested in shipping heavy/oversize items but if you need something send me a message. Interested in trading for some small things; wiper resevoir cover, clutch pedal pad, small door mirrors. Send me a message with what you need and we can work out a fair price. Are all four of the wheel well chrome pieces all in decent shape? how about chrome seat hinge side covers? I would be interested in these items. Thanks Randy

Wheel well chrome is gone as is the front clip. I'll check on the seat hinge covers, there's a blanket over the seat so I haven't checked. Scott I'll get back to you via pm.

 

any chance that it has a good usable steering shaft ? ( the one between the column and steering gear )

 

If I do have one it would be for 2wd automatic (might be the same as 2wd stick). Still interested? I can start digging through parts
