You'll want some half decent heads too if you're planning on throwing on a turbo.

Any suggestions on heads for the 360?

I hear GT390 heads work great.

Depends. What's your budget? I understand that you'll likely not want to buy $2,000 aluminum heads but if you're doing a turbo build you're going to be spending that much anyway...

I would personally go ***** to the wall with an NA setup. You can put the money you would spend on turbos and such and put it towards a bitchin' top end. That is, at least, assuming that you're only touching the top end. That's the vibe I'm getting. Camshaft, springs, intake, carburetor, heads, roller rockers, studs... it all adds up and if you're going turbo it's really going to add up.

Just remember though that you cannot change your mind halfway through. Decide before you buy anything whether or not you'll be doing a turbo setup because you have to build the engine around the turbo. (Compression ratios and strength considerations, etc)

If there is ONE lesson I've learned in the past year of all my engine dealings, it's that you match EVERYTHING together and do it ALL AT ONCE. Or in planned stages. Not just pick a part and slap it in.

Yes, exactly! You can do this with the body and the chassis but NOT with the engine!

Yep. I've caused myself too many problems doing it part here part there. But I think I'm finally going to get it all worked out this time.
