I just had this problem with my 93 F250 5.8. I cleaned out my throttle body as it was filthy and I was low on tranny fluid so I filled it up and that solved my problem for the most part. I also need an alternator as once I put it in drive or reverse, my voltage drops noticeably and wants to die out. Try cleaning your throttle body and IAC and check your tranny fluid level.
Yea that's something to.. I had an older motor craft alternator on the truck and thought it was going out... So replaced with another 75 amp from oriellyautoparts but it originally had a 100 amp belt on it, which would fit the new alternator, so got a smaller.. Belt would that cause anything and yes the shop replaced all them parts..
