You have to buy an adapter and rig up your own plumbing. Jeg's & Summit sell the stuff, but they don't cater to the I-6, so you won't find the parts listed for it. Since the 4.9L uses the same oil filter and has a LOT more room around it than the 5.0L & 5.8L, those adapters will work.

You also can obtain/install a separate oil cooler using a "T" brass connection at oil press sender to obtain oil from engine and returning directly to a drilled hole on engine block. A few hoses and that's it.
