Driver's Side Valve Cover Gasket

Driver's Side Valve Cover Gasket
My truck had the dreaded plug spit issue. I broke down and bought the time-sert kit, which I must say is the only way to go, very good system. In the process of fixing the spark plug hole, I removed the driver's side VC so I could verify that the valves were closed. I put a new gasket on when I put it back together but I guess it didn't seal correctly. It is a PITA on the drivers side to snake it back in there and keep the gasket oriented correctly. Does anyone have any hints, I will be tearing it back down on Saturday to replace it. I was thinking using some Yellow Death to hold the gasket to the cover, any thoughts?

I used a gasket glue to hold the valve cover gaskets in place, though i cant remember the name of it. I was doing some major work and had the egr tube removed on that side, and it was a piece of cake. The passenger side, OTOH, that was the biggest asskicking of my life. I know there are a couple spots on the front where the timing cover meets the head that you need to put a couple dabs of RTV...consult the book for that.
