Brakes

I have an 04 F350 4x4 SRW and looking at rotors, why are there so many different diameters in rotors? I just want to do my front brakes, and dont know which diameter to get. (the loast time my brakes were done, was by a friend.)

If they have never been turned, why not just get them turned?

The superduty rotors are pretty robust. Mine cleaned up with minimum effort at 108K and even at 200K they'll probably turn again.

04, I'd replace them unless you have under 100K. Then if they are flat just put pads on them.

I kept my stock rotors and put in Hawk LTS pads. I have CyroSlots and another set of LTS pads ready to go when (if?) I manage to warp a rotor but they've been on the shelf for three years now. There are probably several sizes listed for the SD because the brakes changed in 2005.

<table class="moreinfotable" width="100%"><tbody><tr><td>Outside Diameter (in)</td><td>13.03</td></tr><tr><td>Nom Thk (in)</td><td>1.495</td></tr><tr><td>Min Thk (in)</td><td>1.417</td></tr><tr><td>Bolt Circle (in)</td><td>6.693</td></tr><tr><td>Overall Height (in)</td><td>3.91</td></tr></tbody></table>

Specs if you want to measure what you have:
