Door help

Ok so I'm not sure what the part is called but there is a bushing that sits on the stud that the door latches onto. Where can a guy find a replacement bushing?

Most parts houses carry them on the "Help" endcap. Or a turnstile display.

I know for a fact that Autozone carries these. I wish I had kept my box with the P/N on it but I threw it out. They will say they are for 1983-2000 Fords. You want the short bushings, unless you want to trim down the longer ones to fit the striker.

They work perfectly, and they stop that annoying door rattle.

Replacing just the striker plate nylon bushing can be a PITA, as it wasn't designed to be replaced. FoMoCo only sold it with the striker plate.

D2AZ-6522008-A .. Striker Plate / Available from Ford and auto parts stores.

1973/79 F100/750 / 1978/79 Bronco / 1975/86 Econoline back door / ALL 1972/79 Passenger Cars (except 1972/77 Maverick/Comet) front & rear doors.

Junkyards: Take 'em from the rear doors of 4 door sedans, faaar less wear.
