I got it from stock interiors .com for 136$ including shipping. The fit was perfect and it came with the grommet for the dimmer switch. I only had to trim the front edge about 1/2" under the dash. Real easy install

I think I just found the place to get the carpet for "ol red" (see garage), but in black of course.
Thanks for the info, what year and type of vehicle did that xfer boot come from?
And what did you put down under the carpet on the floor, looks like black.....?

The shifter boot came with the truck, it was too small for the shifter to move full range when screwed down. I have since installed a universal one from autozone
I paid about 15 bucks for it, it's not exactly what I wanted but the price was right.
I sprayed the floor with "truck bed liner" in a can. that was 8 bucks, i used 1 can, i probably could have used one more and pur a second coat on.
i could use some nice floor mats but these carpet squares were free

Keep in touch, I have a awesome JY right up the road from me with I bet 4 or 5 hundred ol 73-79 Fords. And there are a ton of OEM shift boots in there.
