Don't feel bad.. I asked at he service dept about it and was told the same thing.. After thinking about it I guess that the company is interested in us not throwing out our garbage.. I never did anyway but now it lands in the bag instead of on the floor..
Its always good to keep the area ford clean..Carry a Chebby to the dump once a week and the rust smell will go away.

no- they are interested in saving money.. look at that same spot in some 99's and you will see that it was an ash tray. When we got my '02 we asked the same thing at the dealer... same answer. Trash Bag.
