Warns;

>When is is 30* out, raining, and you or your wife is in the middle of a big mud puddle would your rather jump out and turn the dials that are recessed into the hubcaps or just turn a dial inside?

>Would you rather have a nice clean hubcap and hub, or a hub that looks like it was an afterthought?

You could use that money you spent on Warns to fix the ESOF and the stuck dial problem is an easy fix. (2 ways to fix it).
Well then help the OP out and find him some used ones.. And that's why I bring the wife along to jump out and lock in the hubs..

They should be really easy to find. I know all the ones that were replaced weren't bad or they were fixable.

Here in Socal, i have been in need of a replacement OEM hub since the locking dial was missing when i purchased the truck. havent ran across any stock replacements during my somewhat often CL searches, and for around 200 bucks the Warns will suffice when i decide its time to actually go off-road

My hubs have 170k miles and are working fine. The reason everyone thinks Warns never break is because there is probably 10% of the run total time on them compared to stock.
I already have warns and am satisfied, pluse turn that dials is like exercising
Pluse my wife don't know how to drive the Ex to big for her , she love hot hatch cars .

I do have 2011 navigator, 93 probe gt , 01 town car , 99 suburban, and my new little suv 2014 Hyundai Santa fe . And after two months the I'll sell the probe and the towncar to get her a new car what ever she want

Peace

my mechanic took mine apart and cleaned them pretty easily not much of time for him while doing other stuff. When I first got the beast one side wouldnt move and the other was real hard to turn also had a melted vacume line. Not much for a pro to take care of.

Downplay you? Not at all, Brent. You said they can be found for peanuts, meaning inexpensive, yet two of the four links you posted far from inexpensive.

Those two links that are really expensive are why people opt for the Warn hubs.

That being said, I wish those used hubs (the two links you did post that are presently priced at a decent cost) were abundantly available when the hubs went out on my Ex.

I would much rather have a good working OEM setup for the wife's Ex over the Warn hubs.
