Cut the bolt back and weld a new bold to the stud head. That'll get you bye till you can get a new V band clamp
The torch is the only thing I used to get my dp off. Why are you guys saying no to the blue wrench??
Several people have caught their trucks on fire using a torch. The heat can soak through the fire wall and catch the interior on fire. Its usually out of control by the time you crawl out from underneath the truck to realize what's going on.
BTW, I love the picture in your signature. LOL, I bet that was a fun one to get unstuck.
FWIW, I usually get stock downpipes out with only one cut from a sawzall. Usually takes around 10-15 minutes and its on the ground.
I use Milwaukee Torch blades. I've used some diablo blades, but like the Milwaukee stuff better. I used 3 blades yesterday cutting a complete OBS cab into 3x3 pieces and it only took around an hour and a half to go from complete cab to small pieces sitting on a trailer

Oh I see. Guess I was lucky when I did mine.

Yea we unloaded it to get it unstuck. Man the ground was sure soft that fall. That was back in '08 I think.
When I was 14, I was pulling a loaded silage wagon when the rear ditch-side tire blew. I instinctively pulled off the side of the road. It sank inso deep the wagon was going to tip over. I skipped school that day so we could get a lot done. That was the first load after morning chores and it was 10 pm by the time we got it up out of the hole and home.
OK so I had to do a little time in the pokey. but, now I'm out and tried to put in the exhaust and can't get anything past the muffler to fit right. Not enough clearance has anyone else used this kit on this fourm. Need some help
have you tried building it from the rear forward? Hang the tail pipes then work back toward the muffler and adjust the muffler to where it fits? Not sure if that is your problem or not. I would call the manufacture and see what they say.
