high idle
just got this truck frist ford i have had 1992 5.0 f150 2w drive eec-iv the owner before me changed the oxygen sensor,map,tps and i just put in a idle air control . idle is still 3000 to 4 rpms. looking at the books here runing out of things to change .

Check and change your throttle body gasket and the gasket between the plenum and intake manifold. If it leaks, it draws in to much air and runs the engine lean causing your idle to climb. try it, it's a cheap fix anyway.
