Hello All,
Any idea why my BU assist on/off button is intermittant? It comes on and off when "it" wants to but won't respond when "I" push it. When it's on, it works fine but when it's off, I can't turn it on but the "off" light is still functional.
Switch, relay, sub computer? Any ideas?

Is it possible the wires to the sensors have been damaged? I *think* that if that is the case, the assist will not 'enable' as that would give YOU an assurance that 'things are OK' to back up, when the machine just really does not know...
In other words, unless it can pass its internal 'test', it will not enable. I think you may have a sensor going out.

Thanks for the hits Tom & Bobby! I'll check out the sensors. It must be an intermittant thing because sometimes it works fine but that's on "it's" terms.
