There is a 1952 f-8 on Uncle Henry's with the Original 317 Y block it needs new brakes(every part they are hydraulic not air) ,head gasket, floorboards, lights, tires, wipers, mirrors, driver window needs to be put in track, wind shield needs replace( has one) but is only Classified - 4065387 | Uncle Henry's
I voted hell no because that's too much money to ask for a truck with only one little small picture and all those needed repairs that you list. On top of that, it's one of the big jobs which means parts are even harder to come by.

Actually, if it's an original engine, it should be a 279 Y block. The 317 came out in 1952 and was only put in the Lincoln, the trucks got the 279, the trucks didn't get the 317 until 54.
You're seriously asking this group of enablers if you should buy an old truck??? And you expect an answer other than yes?? If so, you're in the wrong forum.
Everyone should have an F8 in their collection. I've got mine.

And you know that if it had been closer to Tennessee, it would have been mine!
