Well, Ford decided to "pull" my new pickup order from the system, so, after 7 weeks- no truck.
The dealer did, however, find a good substitute! I had ordered a 9900 # gvw. It had the camper package. This one does not, but has the snowplow and the FX4 packages. The gvw is 9700#! What is different?
If you have a deposit on this ordered truck or a signed buyers agreement you should be able to make the dealer order it again for the same price and you would get a 2004 truck.

True story. It's a California truck...something to do, I guess with the emissions or how they license trucks in CA.
Anyway, if you ARE getting a slide-in camper you will want the camper package. It comes with the 'CYA' document in the glovebox so you can haul a camper...and overloads and a rear anti-sway bar.
