If I was to buy one I`d buy it slightly used I just don't see paying the new premium price when you can get an all but new for a lot less.....was frankly pretty surprised how many `13s were for sale as used with next to no miles on them when I was looking to buy here a while back
Only if they offered a Supercab with a short (5'6") bed so that a new truck would fit in my garage. The 2004 thru 2008 crewcabs fit fine, but the new ones are too long, and I'm not leaving a $30K+ vehicle out in the weather for over half its life...
With the aluminum body weight savings and short wheelbase, I bet the 2.7L ecoboost would move this size F150 well and get super gas mileage at the same time. It's all the truck I need, but I don't think Ford will produce the 2015 in this configuration...
I'll be waiting for a good long while. My bride is in line for the next new vehicle.
Now if I can convince her to get a 2016 F-150..........
Same here. Wifey likes new F-150, and since most suvs are being grocery gettered out, it'll get a topper and a bed rug. So unless that rumoured F-150 based Bronco comes out.....that's wifey's next ride.

that`ll be my argument for buying one with the wifey "babe the gas savings alone will almost pay for the truck" .......but then she`ll say that was the logic for buying the `13

I'm still fresh into payments with my current truck (Just barely had it a year). I would love to get a 15 but thats going to be a hot minute before thats possible. I did a two part answer to the poll because of this...keeping what I have and maybe but need a little time.
My '13 eco only has 4k miles but gets terrible fuel economy. When Ford sticks a diesel in the F150 I will buy. With towing mpg usually around 9mpg and it has been as low as 6.5 I will be way better off with a diesel if it gets the fuel economy of the Ram ecodiesel
If I were in the market for a new truck I'd get one of the new 15s. However my 11 is probably going to be in the driveway for another 6-7 years so I'm out. This new truck would have to get 30 mpg for me to jump back into payments so soon, and that isn't gonna happen.
its gonna happen maybe not for a few more years buts its coming....I`ve hit 23 mpg on lie o meter can only imagine if truck was 700lbs lighter what it might get
