I watch but I wouldn't say excited. Of course I enjoy the hockey.

I was watching some cross country skiing the other morning while I was on the elliptical machine. nothing makes a guy feel like he's not working hard enough like watching those dudes.

Howdy team. Not really worth making it's own thread, but I'm trying to track down the Canadian order guides for the F150 from any or all of 2010, 2011, and 2012.

I'm planning on buying a new truck, probably from those years, in about two or three months. Knowing what options were available would be a big help in knowing what I should be looking for. Any suggestions as to must have options or tings you wish you had gotten on your truck?

Also, anyone know off-hand what the XTR package included in those years? seems like a lot of the XLT's have that package, and I'd like to know what's included.

I guess if you get a newer model you can get the echoboost. A fellow I work with bought a used one and he loves it.

Dug up the canadian dealer brochure for the 2012 F150. That lays out the options pretty well. The XLT trucks could have nearly anything in them, but the FX4 and Lariat models are a lot more locked-down.
Only really "must have" feature is the power memory pedals and seat. My wife is 8 inches shorter than me, and even though she won't be driving the truck much, the memory pedals just makes her so happy.
My 2000 Expedition Eddie Bauer had them, and the 2005 F150 lariat has them too. Next truck can't be missing that.

I'd like the ecoboost, but seems like they are commanding a pretty hefty premium on the used market, so I'm happy with the 5.0 if that's what I find.

More and more snow. Guess that goes with the warmer temps.

hasn't been snowy in cowtown. Not too cold either. we're in a really nice place weather-wise.
My company got sold this week. Well, a big chunk of it. I'll have a new employer before summer. I didn't expect it to go this fast.

We're getting a blast of winter today and for the next couple days. Brrrr.

Hey, have any of my Canadian brothers (or sisters) imported a truck from the USA recently? Any idea how warranty works across the border? Just looking into this, as it appears I can save a little money by going south. Not a huge amount, now that the dollar is low again.

Right now I am fully persuaded that it is winter ... -35° mornings just say winter! But it cannot last, for 'tis nearly March now. The sun is beginning to increase in strength...

Supposed to be near freezing today, then around -30c by tomorrow night. These big swings are tough on everyone.

Howdy to Alberta. I have a friend that winters here in Arizona from the Calgary area. He said to say hello also. He told me Alberta was full of rednecks, he sure is, I guess that is why he & I get along so well. He is a 2012 Ford F150 driver.

We may be somewhat redneck, but we're mostly just easy going and like to keep things simple. After all, life is short, why complicate it?!

Heard some rain overnight on my skylight. Looks like it wasn't much and it turned to those little soft pellets of snow before morning. I'm one of those guys obsessed with drainage, so I've been out chipping ice all winter to keept he storm drains free and clear. I think I'm the only house on the block without a huge puddle beside it.

Anyone have a Ford used salesperson they like dealing with in the southern half of the province? Anything south of Edmonton would work. Planning to pick up a 2012 in about six weeks. I have some feelers out with a few contacts, but would love someone I could deal with over email. I'm a little picky, so getting the exact truck I am looking for is a big deal.

Howdy neighbors. Have had a few days of beautiful weather here. Snow on the ground is losing the battle.
