94 Explorer u-joint # and conversion u-joints
Hello,
I have a driveshaft out of a 94 explorer 2wd 4dr and was curious if anyone here knew the u-joint size off the top of their head? Im thinking its 1330? The id of the yoke is ~2.346 but I dont really know u-joints well enough to determine what joint this is.
This brings me to my next question...whats currently available for conversion u-joints in this size? I found joints converting 1310, 1330, and 1350 all to each other but Im curious if they make anything that will convert this to something like a muscle car joint i.e chrysler 7260/7290? Its a long shot given the chryslers inside snap ring design vs the Ford external but I thought I would try. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Chad
