2014 GTG!
I'll also have a fresh 30 cup coffee machine hot and full when you get here. Gonna get some popcorn for the big popcorn machine too!
Everyone checking out the panel.
Don's rod project
While we were taking a tour Don's Granddaughter Nakala showed up for the GTG. Ww got back to the shop and found her under the truck pulling the driveline out to replace the U-joints. Grandpa taught her well.
Bellied up to the ongoing Fab/welding table for some serious eating. Left to right Don, Craig, Jim, Tiny.
Rob, Don's neighbor and Vietnam Vet came over and stayed for a couple of hours. Jim and Rob swapping Vietnam stories. Thank you all for your service, and from this retired Coast Guardsman, Welcome Home.
The new, hmmm, ok, soon to be old look of Don's tow truck. 50's cab and chassis 70's tow gear.
Jim and Rob talking in the foreground. L to R Allen, Chris, Tiny, and Don.
Harley fresh from the hospital wouldn't miss the event. He, Allen, and Chris are discussing motorcycles, a passion with Harley. Allen rode over from Prineville with his wife Diane for the day. Heard it was a cold ride back after sunset in the Ochoco's.
Long time friend of Don's and Ford enthusiast Mikey joined up for the GTG. The body on the stand is his 1965 Ford F100 that he and Don have been painstakingly doing the body work on. Going to be a beautiful truck when done Mikey.
Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
To those people that didn't show up, you missed a great time with great people and ton's of great food! Can't wait to do it again!

But, a beautiful Friday sunset was provided...........
Later we found out that a certain Oregon Chapter Leader (who shall remain nameless) is pretty much so a "light weight". Starts complaining about 2000 hours that it is "past his bed time."
His affliction is apparently contagious! We may have to quarantine him.
We also found out that if you want to know anything about anything automotive.........go to Don. If you want to know about a tree.....call the OSU Extension office..........."I don't know what it is, but is sure is pretty. It's bloomed like that every year."
And now for the Test.........Who was paying attention on the guided tour? What is....................
Howdy Sailor.........BT, wow that was tough work!!
I punched tubes on a boiler onboard the USS Praire AD-15 Summer 1967.
