E4OD not pulling cold
We Had a good snow storm here Tuesday. had not drove my 4x4 in about a month. I had noticed in the past that if it sit for a while (4 or 5 days) it would have to run for about 30 sec. before it would move. then it would work perfect the rest of the day. Tue night I got it out to go do some snow removal. I let the truck warm up of course but it had not been plugged up. it was very cold for our area around 10 degrees that night. any way when I got it out on the main road it quit pulling about three times when in first gear then I move the selector to 2nd and it pulled fine. I let it run there until it warmed up then moved the selector back to drive. haven't had the problem since. the trans has been built and up dated it came out of a friend of mines truck that we swapped manual to auto in mine and auto to manual in his. just checking to see if any one have run across this before. it has about 30,000 since rebuild. oil changed twice since then.

did you notice if they installed the external bypass lines along the side of the trans like they have on the 4r100?
the part# has been updated and you can install that on yours to help issues like your having when it's below freezing weather.the local shop did this to mine in the f250 during a reman.
