George, you must be bushed after handling all those shingles! I wish they were on my garage!

 

Now I'm bushed, Steve, Truck is unloaded. 85 x 40 x 2 = tired 6400# stacked them on the truck, unloaded, stacked again. Plus picked up a couple of diamond plate fenders for the trailer. If I was a horse I could figure out the work done and how much horsepower I generated.

Garage? reminds me to do the other 1/2 of my garage roof. Put it on in 1975. Held up real well for $1.69 a bundle shingles. No leaks either.

 

You know George, if you keep talking about all this work, who is gonna want to read this thread?

I woke up to very low water pressure this morning at 5am. Fortunately I was able to just adjust the pressure switch, very thankfull that was it! Then I got to spend some quality time cleaning out the wood furnace since this is the first day near the freezing mark in forever. Meanwhile the daughter put a load of wood in the cellar for me. By the way, this is the same girl that is making homemade pizza for me as I type! What a gem!

 

I think you ought to get a Ford truck for her, Steve

 

Not a bad idea! She drove the 95 I use to have, back and forth from school a few years ago and she really liked it. So did I, unfortunately, so did the salt.

 

Howdy everyone, I lose track of not just the time but the day so couldn't figure out why the other thread died.

Broke out the ol' airbrush and started practicing today. The Harbor Freight pancake air compressor is pretty quiet.

Cooked up some lasagna in the toaster oven, yum!
