I know this is not the usual question, but can I make my F350 quieter? Just bought a 2005 5.4 second hand and I find the exhaust very loud. The dealer says there is nothing wrong with the exhaust - it was just designed to sound that way. I borrowed a neighbour's 150 a week ago and it sounded like a car. Yesss, that's what I want.

How loud is a stock system on the 350? Is mine normal, or has someone replaced the muffler with some flow through system?

Thanks. Right now it is covered with a thick snow, salt, sand goop that is freezing as we speak. As soon as I can get it clean enough to see, I'll get a pic and send along.
