That is great work and that thing is huge. Heavy front suspension required...ha.

Actually before I put the pipe and expanding metal on the wings I could lift it my self. The center section is 1/4'' plate but the wings are made from 10'' cee purlin covered with 1/8 plate. I would put the weight at 150 lbs maybe.

As for as thriving Bastrop its still same Blackbeest ,mill closure didnt effect it much.

No not unemployed been offshore for past 4 1/2 years since mill closed. All the mill employees that wanted to work after mill closed have found a job. others retired or just didnt want to work no more.

I have it mounted to the frame, I used 3/8'' x 3'' angle iron and it slides into the frame.
