I am looking at a headache rack made by Spyder Industries that I located used. When I go to the website for Spyer Industries to check fitment sit shows to order 1999-2010 or 2011-2013.

So my question to those of you who may know, is there actually a measurement difference in the bed width, height or cab configuration between the 1999-2010 and forward?

Backrack shows theirs fits 99-13 SD's so not sure why Spyder would have a different fitment unless its related to the mount kit and not the actual rack.

 

Ranch hand does not show a difference on their headache rack fitment either between the years

 

I have the ranch hand on mine. it is the same as for the 12.

 

Bed dimensions are the same, but possibly the mounting method is different?

Best to contact them and have them explain to you what they had to change.

My rack and rails are stake pocket mounted, and they are still specified suitable for 1999-present Super Duties.
