Blown fuse
K guys need a little help and I apologize cause this is regarding my 63 falcon. But there is a wealth of knowledge on this site so thought I'd ask. If need be delete or ignore.
My combo tail light/dome light/break light fuse (25A) blows when I start the car. I have not made any mods and don't know where to start trouble shooting. Car off, with new fuse then no issues. Thanks a million.

Yes they work when off. Yesterday I replaced the fuse and lights worked fine. As I was putting everything back together I left them on, maybe 10 min. Car was off. I started the car to pull in the garage and noticed the dome light was out. Fuse blown again and tail and brake lights out. Coincidence ?

There are 2 hot wires touching somewhere. IMHO
Without going out and checking the circuit in my truck, I am a bit set back at 25A fuse on brake circuit. That seems a bit high but I might be wrong.
BTW, It's getting dark now and tomorrow it's gonna be to darn cold to go out & look.
