Look at the date in my Sig next to the Oil cooler that's when I changed it and got these prices I cant see the date typing this LOL

My local ford wanted 365.00 for the Cooler Kit and 1200 for labor back then and Im sure its went up since

Im not sure about the increase on the oc kit,, but I've been doing a bunch of reseals lately. Their deltas were good,, and their $$$ was tight. So I would backflush the oc in the sink, and reseal only. I don't think the kit with the oc went up as much. But the seal only kit skyrocketed.

I checked at Autonations website and I didn't find just the oil cooler seal kit but I did find this.......Oil Cooler Rebuild Kit,
Kit includes cooler core, gaskets, updated metal mesh screen, as well as instructions. Reuses old aluminum housing. Same kit used by Ford techs for warranty repairs.

Item # 3C3Z-6A642-CA\

$290.29 over the counter complete, I doubt shipping would set you back very much to KC but that IDK

If you have a part# for the seal kit you could probably find one at their site for comparison to what you are paying at your source. Hope this helps you in some way.

Yeah Crafty,, I think I'm $2 over that at my local dealer. I get very good pricing there. I've bought 3 in the last week n a half. Mounted one up last night actually. It's the seal kit that runs $80-$90. It used to be less than $30.

Did you guys know that you can only use $500 of customer rewards each year??? I just found that out. Does anyone else use that?? That stuff is adding up. I had Julie go in and ask if the total car has a part number. Lol. That's when she found out about the $500 yearly limit.

I was just looking these up and getting ready to order. Anthony have you seen any failure of the blue dorman gasket or just the green?? Jswartz84 thanks for the part number I was just going to look it up Monday. Was going to this week but I had a fuel pump die so funds went to that instead.
