351w emission question
Hi, I'm brand new to the forums. I have a 96 f250 with a stock 351w and a flowmaster super 44 muffler. I was wondering if i can take the cat of the truck and still pass emissions in NJ. Thanks.

In short, no.
The long version, is that it is actually a federal requirement (country wide) that you must retain the factory emissions equipment. Here in WI we don't have emissions tests and you can get by without it as long is your exhaust isn't ridiculously loud. But I would guess you will fail the visual portion of your emissions check, and you'll never pass the actual test without it.
