Excellent Excellent install and write up. And great info too. I have a lockpick on my nav and ive been waiting for the software upgrade to be able to add second camera, now I can add that to my list!! Did you have to have any BCM programming done so truck would accept the nav?
I know the place I bought it from programmed it for my VIN. A lot easier than going to the dealership.

@Wizness
I know this is an old thread but still relevant so I'll ask the question. I purchased a lockpick and front camera (camera-source) just like yours off ebay for my 2012 f250 lariat with factory nav and backup camera.
The instructions for the the front camera say to hook the camera red wire to red/black stripe wire on lockpick and the black wire to the black (ground) on lockpick, the rca obviously went into the frnt/left input on lockpick box.
Everything works fine but I noticed on the front camera cable, where the rca/red/black cables split (pic attached), it gets very very warm, even when not viewing the camera. Does yours do that as well?
How has the camera functioned for you over the years. Thanks

I have never noticed anything get warm on mine. Over the years I haven't had any issues really. The cameras work but the coating on the lens seems to be cloudy and not as good quality as they were when i got them. I only have 20k miles on my truck so its not like it's abused by any means.
