My blue tooth scan tool works great but I don't get any reading on my EOT. I have checked it every time I hooked it up and nothing. How can I test the sensor to see if it is working? Or should I look for wiring problem some where on the motor, if so where?
Now we're making progress. One of the EOT gauges doesn't work with our trucks. Try the other one, there should be 2 listed. Have you got the custom PID's for the Ford powerstroke?
I have found both EOT on my torque pro program and one shows up green indicating that it is working but the temp is 0deg and the other doesn't work at all.
Since the Torque pro is picking up on it but no temp, does that mean the wiring is ok but a bad sensor? I have looked the wiring and plug over and it look ok. If I have the correct plug, I believe it is the one on top of the oil cooler next to the filter.
I had this problem. Look at the string for the EOT in the Torque App. There is an extra symbol, a parenthesis "[" I think. Let me look, I will get back...
