Subtract the gauge pod and make it a smooth hump. It could be made to look relatively stock.

That's one of the projects I was contemplating trying this summer. Grabbing a test dash out of a junkyard truck and trying to mold in a double din radio to look as close to factory as possible.

It is interesting...but aside from the sun damage and the color, I like my interior as it is.
