I posted this a while ago and didn't get much interest, so I'm trying again... does anyone have an interest in a dealer installed retro toolbox from 1965? It's in great shape but needs paint. I'm in San Diego, and it's too big and heavy to ship. You can view it here: Rare Vintage Toolbox for 1965 Ford F100 Pickup Truck

Not genuine Ford, it's aftermarket.
The only tool compartments (boxes) available from Ford were installed in the right quarter panel, in front of the wheel of 1964/66 F100/250 2WD & 1966 F100 4WD Styleside pickups.
Both short and long bed compartments were available
Thanks numberdummy. Is it possible that it was installed by a local dealer that happened to have an aftermarket source for them? Have you ever seen one that looks like this?
