I have a 1987 F-250 4x4 EX cab long wheel base 6.9l Deseil and i need some advice! I am haveing a problem starting in the morings! and i think my switch that changes wich tank its pumping deseil out of i think is going out!
When i'm drivein down the road and on the gas it pours black smoke out the pipes. it idles fine but while sitting and i push in the gas it gives off black smoke then white or blue smoke i cant really tell! SO if anyone can give some advice and suggestions plz email me!
The black smoke is from over fueling, lack of air, or a cold engine. Check your air filter, have your injection pump and injectors cleaned and calibrated. If this doesnt help, you may have low compression.
