I took the old rims and tires off my totalled truck, and put them on my new truck. It had Eddie Bauer alluminum wheels on it, but it was a 2wd, so they all had center caps that were for a 2wd, not open for the hubs on a 4x4. Well, i figured it out and realised that they work either way. I think the center caps for XL/XLT/EB are the same but a different color plastic piece in the middle. Mine were off my 95 truck and put onto my new 95 truck. All you gotta do is punch out the little plastic part in the middle where the hubs go, and then with a big chisel, knock the bead on the inside out with a hammer. Its really easy. I thought i had to go and buy 4x4 center caps but they are all the same. Hope this helps someone out there, good to know anyway.

Actually all of the models had the same color in the center caps. From '86(?) to '93(?) the centers were red. From then until '97 the centers were black.

Thanks for the compliaments Brown4x4...i really like those rims, i wish they were 8 inches wide though, i'd hate to get rid of them in favor of getting 35s, i just dont feel comfortable with a rim that small.
