I'll probably weld some D rings on the edges. Make some nice racks. And put some nice marker lights on it. Also put some mesh on the headache rack. And find somewhere to put my spare tire. Haha
looks pretty bad-*ss, I must say! I like the black wheels with the black bed. can't go wrong with black. (can you tell I'm partial to black).
looks quite functional as well. I don't haul too often, but have had several times where being able to fork-load a pallet of lumber onto my truck would have saved a lot of $.
are you going to do under-bed toolboxes? apart from the filler necks, looks like they'd fit perfect under the bed, fore and aft of the tires.
I have a normal tool box in the old bed of my pickup that I may just mount. But at the same time I don't want to do that. I figure if I have the essential fluids, - antifreeze, brake fluid, powersteering fluid , and oil I'll be good there. Also a couple tie downs , a chain or 2 and possibly a shovel. I should be golden. Oh and a spare tire !
i have 4 2 inch, 4 3 inch, and 2 4 inch ratchet straps for my truck.
i currently am using 2 of the 2 inch straps to hold the miller gas welder in place on the tailgate for bad weather traction weight. traction on this truck is not the best in the world, since the aluminum bed only weighs 295 lbs.
so the extra 900 lbs of the welder makes a big difference.
