I have made plans for the later part of June and don't think I will make it. It has been my favorite show for many years...........

I'd say go for it. This seems to be a good central location and it if doesn't suit our needs as expected, chalk it up to experience and then have a year to find a better location and get it planned.
Next question, originally you said June 6&7 the you said June 7&8. Would we figure on most folks arriving Friday June 6 and leaving on Sunday June 8 or arriving Sat June 7 and leaving Mon June 9?

Yes , Bob is good at it. I think he even photo shopped the truck. If it is the pic I am thinking of it was a bunch of Cuban refugees trying to make it to America for freedom. The truck was a 48-early 54 advanced design era Chevy truck. What ingenuity and drive for freedom those boys had. The Coast Guard intercepted them before they reached our shores. They put the refugees on the Coast Guard boat and then sunk the the truck/boat! And the refugees had to go back to Cuba and Communism.

With 2014 Truckstock all lined up, Patti and I took a ride to Pickett State Park — Tennessee State Parks near Jamestown, TN today to look over their facilities. The park is 50 miles from our house, and I have never been there, but Patti grew up in the area and had spent time there as a kid. The park is on TN hwy 154 and borders the Big South Fork national rec area.
I was aware that they had a campground, but didn't didn't know how nice the cabins were. They have a total of 20 cabins, ranging from 1 bedroom to 3 bedroom with prices ranging from $60 a night to $125 a night and 32 campsites with electric/water for $16 a night.
The five 'Deluxe' cabins are in a separate area of the park in a cul-de-sac type setting across the road from the main park. They each have 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, full kitchen, central heat/ac, covered decks, picnic table and grill.
Reservations can be made up to one year in advance.
