Trouble installing NP435
I am istalling my Np435 4speed into my 67 f250 4x4. I have to transmission about 1/2" from the bellhousing but cant get it to seat all the way. I know i have to seag the input shaft into the pilot bearing, but for the life of me I cant get it to go in. Any suggestions??? Thanks.

I use some two 4" bolts with the heads cut off for guide pins. Or some all thread with a slot cut in the end with a hack saw to remove after it's in. Place one in top right and the other lower left.
If the dics is not lined up prefect to go in you can push the clutch pedal in if linkage is hooked up just enough too loosen dics to move for alignment.
You may need a helper too do this tho..
