Hey... I've been looking all over the internet trying to see where I can find a rebuild kit for my 1967 Ford F100 3spd. W/O.D. steering column. I can't seem to find a kit and if I order the parts I need I want to make sure I buy everything at once. Can anyone please help me?
LMC doesn't have everything I need. Carolina Classics has more, much more. I know I need: Shift tube, upper and lower bearings, 1 plastic thrust washer (for the linkage,) 1 upper bearings leave, 1 lower bearing retainer, and 1 lower bearing seat. Don't know if I need anything else? I just want to order everything I need at once so I don't have to keep paying shipping for having to re-order. Thanks again
Call Rick Monday at Carolina Classics. I am not aware that there is any difference in a truck column with or without OD. Number Dummy should have any part numbers.

I've been unable to locate a source for the plastic sleeve located at the base of the shifter tube (as seen in Fig. 10). In fact, it doesn't even show up on the exploded-view diagrams above. If you have any info on this piece, please e-mail me.
Also try www.dennis-carpenter.com. Check your shift flange (the housing shift lever mounts in) for cracks in the bridge from it's outer part to inner part. Also check your rubber steering coupler at the bottom of the steering column. AKA rag joint.
What I mentioned is what I need, don't know about retaining clips or anything like that. Please if anyone has any info on parts needed besides what I listed let me know.

I believe ya, can't see it. Both the T1 slides I got are SOOO scratched up. I came up with the C5TZ prefix on the line I kinda could read out of the OL' memory banks.

Member of SoCal Galaxies bought it, put it into a gazillion stationary store type 3 ring binders, then sold the car.
