DUALLY RIM SIZE

I am looking at a F250 1988 dually. It is on jack stands, with no wheels, as a project truck. Any idea was size rims it takes? Are there factory Ford aluminum rims that were made to fit this combo? Thanks

I FOUND SEVERAL FORD Alcoa WHEELS BUT THEY ARE ALL 7" RIMS. WILL THAT AFFECT THE REAR DUALLY SET UP? I CAN RUN THE FACTORY STEEL WHEELS FOR THE INSIDE RIMS.

Factory for Alcoa wheels that are 7" wide are for Single wheel applications, NOT dual.

And YES you have to run the steel inside wheels with a dually, there is not enough stud or hub to run dual aluminum wheels

Learn something new every day on this site. I did not know you had to run steel wheels inside on a dually. One of the upgrades I wanted to do to mine was get the Alcoa wheels, and I just assumed I would need to buy 6 of them. Good to know I don't.

I am running 6 aluminum wheels on my truck but it is not stock

The inner wheel goes on and a 2" billet steel spacer goes on next(2") 8 lug nuts are installed holding the inner wheel and spacer on.

Then the spacer has 8 new suds to bolt the outer wheel to it.

I needed to run the 2" spacer because I am running such wide tires

Pics of my inner wheel and spacer
Also not the new "lip" on the spacer to center the outer wheel
