Installed the DVD system yesterday...
Well, I finally installed my DVD system yesterday. Bought it off ebay 7.2inch screen, DVD player, wireless head phones, Tv Tuner, FM modulator....etc etc.etc all for 459 including shipping. Made my somebody called Luxma. After the truck is beautied up a little bit I'll post some pics....
I installed the DVD to the pasenger seat. Actually mounted to the underneath side of the seat.(that way it moves back adn forth with the seat. I cut my overhead console in half and mounted the screen to the roof. TV antenna is in the back window... Looks better than I thought it would. I need to figure out how to cover up the joint between the console and screen. Theres no space between them, their just different sizes....

Sorry I haven't posted pics yet.... The system works great, beast dang thing I every installed in the Expy. Kids love it. I had to cut the overhead console in half and I has able to use the connector from the light to hook up to the DVD screen. It came with lights installed. The seat mounted DVD player worked out really well. I installed the remote sensor on the dashboard by the windshield and installed the wireless headphones remote on the center console. Everything works great, not sure if I like having to turn off the unit by hand, I'm thinking I should of hooked it up to the key switch.
PS. I installed the TV antenna in the left rear window...

Sounds like you have an excellent setup.
How many channels can you realistically receive on the TV tuner? Do you lose the channel when you're moving or will the tuner (antenna) adjust automatically? I assume you're using dual diversity (boosted) antennae.
I'm shopping for a setup myself too
