I hate to start this thread off like this but, I have looked everywhere. Does anyone have any info, build post, websites or anything related to building a triton 5.4 3v for performance? More importantly torque? And also without just slapping on a Whipple or tuners, etc.? Just a full on engine build as if it were a single cam pushrod engine?

 

Long tube headers and different cams would be a start.

Check this place out! I plan to build a 5.4 for towing in the 500hp range on pump gas. Looks like we can do it. I have the 2 valve motor.

I'd search on a forum dedicated specifically to the vehicle you'd be building the motor for; Mustang, T-Bird, Cougar etc etc: TCCoA | TCCoA

Gdog what is your fuel mileage right now with the mods you have? I'm getting 12mpg with stock tires and spectre cold air intake. I was getting 14 with 35 inch mud grapplers now i have 275s. Im thinking about getting a gryphon but dont know if i should spend that money if its not gonna help.
