Anyone have a part # for this bottom for an 05' F250 supercab?
I swapped these seats into my OBS truck, but the driver's seat bottom has the typical wear/tear on it and its getting worse.
I have been searching for three days for a replacement bottom cover. I have found them for F150s and the pattern is close but not right. I cannot find them for F250s or F350s as I cannot find the proper part # for the gray DS cover.
This is the tan one: 4c3z-2562900-eaa
Try an auto upholstery shop I say that because I don't think you can get just a seat bottom dress cover by itself.
Actually you can. I have found a tan one. But, I need gray.
Its either that or I am going to bite the bullet and order some Clazzio seat covers. They appear to be better than anything else I have seen and at a very good price. Legit leather replacements for both rows for under $450. I have looked at Wet Okole, Marathon, GTcovers, etc. And the Clazzio covers look like a much better option IMO.
But, if I can get away with just getting a new lower bottom cover, then I will.
I see with the prices they charge I'm a little off on what I charge to do seats. The seat pictured was to a class A rv I charged $700 for the pair of them. that didn't include materials but I went to the rv and removed the seats made the covers and installed them and went back to the rv and reinstalled the seats.
you can find an auto upholstery shop to repair your dress cover they can get OEM fabrics and replace the damaged section and reinstall. I assume the driver seat cushion is damaged due to not using the step bars but sliding out of the truck which wears the fabric on the bolster on the driver side of the driver seat. you can get by with one yard of fabric and labor would be cheaper if you remove the cover and take it to them and reinstall it yourself. It just requires a set of hog ring pliers and the hog rings.
You may not find any hog rings in there. Probably has J-channel around the bottom perimeter, and velcro where the seat middle meets the bolsters. If it has the lumbar **** on the side, you may need to disconnect the cable. If I recall correctly, the cable runs up through a hole in the seat cover to the leanback. The **** itself should just pop off, but it takes a good amount of force.
EDIT: Now that I think about it, you may have to also remove the leanback from the seat to be able to get the cover off.
there are no hog rings on the super duty for some reason.... i just did my dads 2000 F350 last month and there is only SUPER STICKY velcro strips and plastic clips under the seat
