Tire size?

Tire size?
I have an 87 4x4 BII. What size tires come stock on this? The truck is lifted and has 31s on it now, but when the tires need replacing, I was thinking about getting the stock size just cause its cheaper. thanks

I believe that my owners manual (for an 88, but close enough) states a P205/75R15 tire size as stock. Mine had some maypops in that size when I got it, but I already had a set of 4 LT235/75R-15s from my previous truck, so I took the roller skate wheels off and put the larger ones on. I don't have any lift, so I figure that if you put the 205s on yours with the lift, it'll really look......er.....um.....wierd.
I mean they really looked tiny on mine with no lift.

Tire size?
I installed P225x70R15s on my '87. They were not that much more than the originals, but were "wider" and a little "taller". Rode a lot better and looked much better. Good luck!

on my 86 i had 30x9.5 on it with no rub....until i did something stupid(too fast off-road) then it only rubbed a lil. the 235/75/15 or 30x9.5x15 looks nice under a stock b2.
