More tailgate window trouble
I had the same problem with my window stuck up - I ended up by disconnecting the window motor & applying 12V to it (if it doesn't move down, try reversing the wires) - window came down perfectly! It's also a good way to make sure that the motor is working.

thanks, I am trying the 12V trick tomorrow morning with the help of an electrician. If he can not get it hooked up I may just "remove" the window with a large blunt object. Thanks for the help

I got the top off and the window down with little trouble. It was a lot easier to work on with the tailgate down, and I am glad we took the top off witht the window up, it was not bad at all.
